Kipley
Wentz was born and raised just north of Chicago, Illinois.
Described as "extremely Midwestern" by
a
friend, Kipley has been known to wear plaid shirts on occasion.
He received a BFA in Theater from the University of Southern
California, has performed in shows across the country, and
spent two years performing sketch comedy throughout Europe.
He has appeared in numerous Off-Off-Broadway shows and has
performed with the Upright Citizen's Brigade and Second City

was a founding member of The Story Hour, Inc., which produced
shows for children and families throughout New York and New
Jersey. His work in children's theater spans 15+ years, and
he has performed for tens of thousands of children across
the nation.
He is particularly
proud to have been the very first "Buster" in the very first
live production based
on Marc Brown's "Arthur" books.
In addition
to his solo music and puppet shows, Kipley splits his time
between two other projects, The
Fuzzy Lemons... New York's hottest family rock-n-roll
band, and Playdate
Music, a live mini-concert series for
toddlers.
Kipley has written, directed, produced, and
edited numerous film and television projects including independent
features,
documentaries, commercials, PSA's and music videos.
His feature
documentary, Joyful Noise was selected as the "Best
Arts Program" by the New England Cable Commission,
and his feature comedy, Much Ado, has won several
independent awards including "Best Picture" at
the Kalamazoo Independent Film Festival.
He received
a Certificate in Multimedia Production from NYU, and is a
graduate of the Int'l Film & Television
Workshop in Rockport, Maine.
Kipley
currently lives in Hoboken, NJ and enjoys his view of Manhattan
with his wife, Karin,
a dancer for American
Ballet
Theater, and his son, August.
For the
record, his cat Hazelnut does not like wearing cow costumes. |
